Moving forward

Hey everyone!
It's been a while since I posted a blog. We got so incredibly busy (YAY!) the last quarter of 2016, that time got away from me. My husband kept telling me and my partner in crime, Janet, that we could rest in January from our whirlwind adventure making the rounds at the different shows we attended. We are still waiting for "January" and that rest he promised. 
The great thing is, we have picked up lots of new wholesale accounts and a ton of new customers who we are so happy to have shop with us. We had the opportunity to set up a small kiosk at the Acadiana Mall the week of Valentine's and we had a phenomenal response. In fact, the response was so overwhelming, that we decided to move forward with our plan to open up our storefront. 
As some of you may remember, I had spoke about opening a storefront in Arnaudville this year, but we decided at the beginning of the year that we would put it on hold for a little longer. While I was at the mall the week I had my kiosk, I saw an empty storefront. On a whim, I decided to ask the office what the rent would be on the space, thinking that it would totally be out of our price range, and low and behold, it was reasonable. Because of our local economy, they are having a hard time attracting large corporate stores to come into the mall, which benefits small businesses like us. After a lot of praying and conversations with my husband and helpers, we decided to take the chance and try it out. We will be opening our flagship store on June 12th in the Acadiana Mall! I am excited and nervous about this new venture, but I know that with the support of our amazing customers, we will succeed! I hope you will follow along with us on this journey.
